Hello dear friends!

LIFE UPDATE! A lot has happened in my life these past few months. From stepping out of my job of 6 years to applying to the World Race! With that being said, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be heading to eSwatini and South Africa on January 14, 2023, and I’ll be there serving for 4 months.

If you know me, you know that I’ve been drawn to the mission field since I was a kid. I have been on a few one-week mission trips, but nothing like this. I’ve known about The World Race for years and even looked into doing it when I finished college. For a few years, I’ve heard the Lord speaking to me in different ways about stepping out, and finally, I’m doing it!

So, here’s what’s going to happen in the mission field! In South Africa, we will be serving with Impact Africa. Their mission is to serve, educate, and rescue individuals while spurring them toward a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ through socially relevant outlets of ministry service. This deeply impacts individuals, communities, and nations. World Race teams are typically involved with house-to-house evangelism, Bible studies, and school programs to help Impact Africa in their efforts.

eSwatini is a small, mountainous country with a dark secret: the world’s highest HIV/AIDS rate. This pandemic has broken almost every family in eSwatini, to the point where 12% of the total population of eSwatini is made up of orphaned children. 40% of the population is living in poverty, and mothers are often left widowed and with no means to support their hungry children due to a lack of education.

The Adventures Base in Eswatini is the longest standing, largest, and strongest of the international bases. They come alongside local Swazi communities to meet the needs of 8,000 plus orphans, have 72 graduates from their leadership training program, and have 75 local Swazis on staff across their 40-plus care points.

When my team is there, the base will strategically place us with their ministries to help achieve their vision in Eswatini. World Race teams typically are involved in the care point ministry, children’s ministry, discipleship, feeding programs, evangelism, and home visits.

I’m so excited to step out of my comfort zone and walk in what God has called me to do! I hope you will prayerfully consider partnering with the mission by praying or financially supporting me; either or, it will be a huge blessing.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:16-20
