Hello Friends!
We are entering the third week in Jeffreys bay that’s insane! We started working at our ministry last Monday and it was so fun. So let me tell you about it. The ministry is called Beats & Books, and it’s a little organization that helps kids thrive musically, intellectually, and spiritually. So, they’ve been writing tests all week and have more this week and my new team (wedding planners) has been helping with math, social science, and English tutoring and even with music lessons. My role has been helping the media staff (Jaide) with photography, which obviously, I love! I will say that my favorite day this week was Friday, they did a corporate worship section with the kiddos where they sang and played their instruments, and we had a sweet time with the girls after! We got in small groups and I had 2 so special girls with me. We got to give them a small manicure to relax from the stress of exams and talk about Jesus 🥹
Honestly, I’m super excited to build new relationships with the kids at the B&B they are all so sweet eager to learn and so welcoming toward us! Also, the staff is amazing! Their love for the kids is so evident! They are also planning to expand, currently, they have a waiting list of over 50 kids, and no space to host them! So I’ll be sharing soon how y’all, from the states, could help!
I do have big news for you guys, since December I’ve been praying about what I should do after the race. The Lord kept highlighting another trip with the World Race over the summer, and after a few months of praying about it, I felt peace in applying for the trip! So, I’m going to Guatemala in June + July! I would love for y’all to continue in partnership with me in prayer and for y’all to consider partnering with me financially! To go, I need $3,500!
