Hello friends!
What a joyful few weeks have been in Jeffreys Bay, SA. The Lord is so good, still moving and growing me. Like I said in my last blog, my team (Wedding Planners) was placed with a ministry called Beats and Books. The kids were in the thick of exams when we got to the ministry, so things looked very different from what they call a “normal day” at B&B. We were helping all of the kids to study and prepare for their exams while encouraging them in the Lord! At the same time, I helped with photos, and other girls with video content to raise money for a down payment for the new space that they desire to purchase to grow the ministry! And we met the goal! PTL! After exams were done, the kids entered a week-and-a-half break. And that’s where we are! Since the kids are gone for a bit we have been helping by inputting books into a database and arranging the library! This week we got the awesome opportunity to do house visits and meet the families of the kids! It was such a sweet time to get to pray for their homes and their family members. Probably one of my favorite times this week. 🤍 We are now getting ready to write a small discipleship curriculum for the girls! We are so excited to be doing this for them. It’s very bittersweet to think that we just have 15 days here and I’m trying my best to enjoy every last minute of it! Also, being very aware that I just have a month to be at home before I leave for Guatemala. Thank you to all that have helped financially and in prayer!
